SPORTS COMPLEX

The Sports Complex consists of 4 playing fields used for Softball, Baseball, and Soccer as well as other festivities through out the year. The infields have recently been upgraded to red clay.

The rates for the use of City softball parks are as follows:
Team Sponsorship Fee - 315.00
Team Player Fees - $475/team or $32/player for Co-Ed players not already on a paid team
Tournament Fees
Reservation deposit of $50.00, refundable only if tournament is held.
Cleaning deposit of $100.00, refundable only if facility is left in same condition as received
Lighting charge of $21.00 per night per field on weekends (Saturday and Sunday Only)
User charge of $52.00 per field per day (Saturday and Sunday Only)
Field preparation charge of $16.00 per field per preparation.

Private parties may rent city swimming pools for private use at times other than normal hours of operation. For further information regarding the swimming pools please contact Steve Swecker, Recreation Director at 623-6325.
CITY PARK
The City Park consists of 65.4 acres of grass, trees and assorted playground equipment. There are bar-b-que pits, covered picnic areas, horseshoe pits, a volleyball net and is directly connected to the little league baseball parks and the newly constructed skatepark. The indoor swimming pool and golf course are within walking distance to the park.

There are three parks in the City of Winnemucca. The above mentioned City Park, Pioneer Park and Highland Park. If you are interested in reserving any of the parks for private use, you can contact the City Clerk's Office at 623-6338.

WINNEMUCCA CEMETERY

The Winnemucca Cemetery is located on the edge of town as you enter the City from the West. You can contact the City Clerk's Office at 623-6339 for any information regarding the location of a specific grave or any other questions you might have.

The cost to reserve a Cemetery plot is $150.00 per plot.
The fees to open and close the graves are as follows:

Infant 150.00
Cremains 75.00
Disinterment 500.00
Overtime (if applicable) 200.00
